The AD7400 is a second-order, sigma-delta (?-?) modulator that converts an analog input signal to a high speed, 1-bit data stream with on-chip digital isolation based on Analog Devices, Inc.?iCoupler? technology. The AD7400 operates from a 5 V power supply and accepts a differential input signal of ?200 mV (?320 mV full scale). The analog input is continuously sampled by the analog modulator, eliminating the need for external sample-and-hold circuitry. The input information is contained in the output stream as a density of ones with a data rate of 10 MHz. The original information can be reconstructed with an appropriate digital filter. The serial I/O can use a 5 V or a 3 V supply (VDD2).The serial interface is digitally isolated. High speed CMOS, combined with monolithic air core transformer technology, means the on-chip isolation provides outstanding performance characteristics superior to alternatives such as optocoupler devices. The part contains an on-chip reference. The AD7400 is offered in a 16-lead SOIC and has an operating temperature range of ?40?C to +105?C.An external clock version, AD7401, is also available.APPLICATIONS AC motor controls Data acquisition systems A/D + opto-isolator replacements

EVAL-AD7492SDZ
Analog Devices Inc.
The AD7492, AD7492-4, and AD7492-5 are 12-bit high speed, low power, successive approximation ADCs. The parts operate from a single 2.7 V to 5.25 V power supply and feature throughput rates up to 1.25 MSPS. They contain a low noise, wide bandwidth track/hold amplifier that can handle bandwidths up to 10 MHz.The conversion process and data acquisition are controlled using standard control inputs allowing for easy interface to microprocessors or DSPs. The input signal is sampled on the falling edge of CONVST and conversion is also initiated at this point. The BUSY pin goes high at the start of conversion and goes low 880 ns (AD7492/AD7492-4) or 680 ns (AD7492-5) later to indicate that the conversion is complete. There are no pipeline delays associated with the part. The conversion result is accessed via standard CS and RD signals over a high speed parallel interface.The AD7492 uses advanced design techniques to achieve very low power dissipation at high throughput rates. With 5 V supplies and 1.25 MSPS, the average current consumption AD7492-5 is typically 2.75 mA. The part also offers flexible power/throughput rate management.It is also possible to operate the part in a full sleep mode and a partial sleep mode, where the part wakes up to do a conversion and automatically enters a sleep mode at the end of conversion. The type of sleep mode is hardware selected by the PS/FS pin.Using these sleep modes allows very low power dissipation numbers at lower throughput rates.The analog input range for the part is 0 V to REFIN. The 2.5 V reference is supplied internally and is available for external referencing. The conversion rate is determined by the internal clock.PRODUCT HGHLIGHTS High Throughput with Low Power Consumption. The AD7492-5 offers 1.25 MSPS throughput with 16 mW power consumption. Flexible Power/Throughput Rate Management. The conversion time is determined by an internal clock. The part also features two sleep modes, partial and full, to maximize power efficiency at lower throughput rates. No Pipeline Delay. The part features a standard successive approximation ADC with accurate control of the sampling instant via a CONVST input and once-off conversion control. Flexible Digital Interface. The VDRIVE feature controls the voltage levels on the I/O digital pins. Fewer Peripheral Components. The AD7492 optimizes PCB space by using an internal reference and internal CLK. ol { margin-top:0px; margin-right:0px; margin-bottom:0px; margin-left:25px; padding-top:0px; padding-right:0px; padding-bottom:10px; padding-left:0px;} li { padding-top:0px; padding-right:0px; padding-bottom:5px; padding-left:0px; margin-top:0px; margin-right:0px; margin-bottom:0px; margin-left:0px;}

The AD7745/AD7746 are a high resolution, ?-? capacitance-to-digital converter (CDC). The capacitance to be measured is connected directly to the device inputs. The architecture fea-tures inherent high resolution (24-bit no missing codes, up to 21-bit effective resolution), high linearity (?0.01%), and high accuracy (?4 fF factory calibrated). The AD7745/AD7746 capacitance input range is ?4 pF (changing), while it can accept up to 17 pF common-mode capacitance (not changing), which can be balanced by a programmable on-chip, digital-to-capacitance converter (CAPDAC). The AD7745 has one capacitance input channel, while the AD7746 has two channels. Each channel can be configured as single-ended or differential. The AD7745/AD7746 are designed for floating capacitive sensors. For capacitive sensors with one plate connected to ground, the AD7747 is recommended. The parts have an on-chip temperature sensor with a resolution of 0.1?C and accuracy of ?2?C. The on-chip voltage reference and the on-chip clock generator eliminate the need for any external components in capacitive sensor applications. The parts have a standard voltage input, which together with the differential reference input allows easy interface to an external temperature sensor, such as an RTD, thermistor, or diode. The AD7745/AD7746 have a 2-wire, I2C-compatible serial interface. Both parts can operate with a single power supply from 2.7 V to 5.25 V. They are specified over the automotive temperature range of ?40?C to +125?C and are housed in a 16-lead TSSOP package. Analog Devices Inc.
The AD7785 is a low power, low noise, complete analog front ends for high precision measurement applications. It contains a low noise 20-bit ?-? ADC with three differential analog inputs. The on-chip, low noise instrumentation amplifier means that signals of small amplitude can be interfaced directly to the ADC. With a gain setting of 64, the rms noise is 40 nV when the update rate equals 4.17 Hz.The device contains a precision low noise, low drift internal band gap reference and can also accept an external differential reference. Other on-chip features include programmable excitation current sources, burnout currents, and a bias voltage generator, the bias voltage generator being used to set the common-mode voltage of a channel to AVDD/2.The device can be operated with either the internal clock or an external clock. The output data rate from the part is software-programmable and can be varied from 4.17 Hz to 470 Hz.The part operates with a power supply from 2.7 V to 5.25 V. It consumes a current of 400 ?A typical and is housed in 16-lead TSSOP packages.APPLICATIONS Thermocouple measurements RTD measurements Thermistor measurements Gas analysis Industrial process control Instrumentation Portable instrumentation Blood analysis Smart transmitters Liquid/gas chromatography 6-digit DVM
