The EVAL-ADF4XXX is a USB to parallel port adaptor board which allows control of older PLL evaluation boards using a standard USB port. The evaluation board kit comes with a USB cable and the adaptor PCB board. The board contains a USB microcontroller which converts the USB data to lower speed serial data which can be used to control the PLL boards directly. The board also has a USB connector and 25-pin D-connector. The parallel port cable that ships with the older PLL evaluation boards should be connected to the 25-pin D-connector.
