The ADN4622/ADN4624 are quad-channel, signal isolated, low-voltage differential signaling (LVDS) buffers that operate at up to 2.5 Gbps with very low jitter. The devices integrate Analog Devices, Inc., iCoupler® technology, enhanced for high-speed operation to provide drop-in galvanic isolation of LVDS signal chains. AC coupling and/or level shifting to the LVDS receivers and from the LVDS drivers allows isolation of other high-speed signals such as current-mode logic (CML).The ADN4622/ADN4624 include a refresh mechanism to monitor the input and output states and ensure they remain the same in the absence of data transitions. For lower power consumption and high-speed operation with low jitter, the LVDS and isolator circuits rely on 1.8 V supplies. The ADAU1961 is a low power, stereo audio codec that supports stereo 48 kHz record and playback at 35 mW from a 3.3 V analog supply. Short-circuit protection circuits limit the maximum output current to ±250 mA during fault conditions. A thermal shutdown circuit senses if the die temperature rises above 150°C and forces the driver outputs into a high impedance state under this condition.The receiver of the ADM1490E / ADM1491E contains a fail-safe feature that results in a logic high output state if the inputs are unconnected (floating).The ADM1490E / ADM1491E feature extremely fast and closely matched switching times. An on-chip oscillator outputs a pair of square waveforms that drive an internal transformer to provide isolated power. The ADM3232E transceiver is a high speed, 2-channel RS-232/V.28 interface device that operates from a single 3.3 V power supply. Low power consumption makes it ideal for battery-powered portable instruments. The ADM3232E conforms to the EIA-232E and CCITT V.28 specifications and operates at data rates up to 460 kbps.All RS-232 (TxOUT and RxIN) and TTL/CMOS (TxIN and RxOUT) inputs and outputs are protected against electrostatic discharges (up to ±15 kV ESD protection). This ensures compliance with IEC 1000-4-2 requirements.This device is ideally suited for operation in electrically harsh environments or where RS-232 cables are frequently plugged/ unplugged, with the ±15 kV ESD protection of the ADM3232E input/output pins.Emissions are also controlled to within very strict limits.
