The LTC3880/LTC3880-1 are dual, PolyPhase DC/DC synchronous step-down switching regulator controllers with an I2C-based PMBus compliant serial interface. The controllers use a constant frequency, current mode architecture that is supported by LTpowerPlay™ software development tool with graphical user interface (GUI).Switching frequency, output voltage, and device address can be programmed using external configuration resistors. Parameters can be set via the digital interface or stored in EEPROM. Voltage, current, internal/external temperature and fault status can be read back through the bus interface. The LTC3880 incorporates a 5V linear regulator while the LTC3880-1 uses an external 5V supply for minimum power loss. See comparison to LTC3887 below. The ADR01, ADR02, ADR03, and ADR06 are precision 10.0 V, 5.0 V, 2.5 V, and 3.0 V, respectively, band gap voltage references featuring high accuracy, high stability, and low power consumption. The devices are housed in tiny, 5-lead SC70 and TSOT packages, as well as in 8-lead SOIC version. The SOIC version of the ADR01, ADR02, and ADR03 are drop-in replacements1 to the industry-standard REF01, REF02, and REF03. The small footprint and wide operating range make the ADR01, ADR02, ADR03, and ADR06 references ideally suited for general-purpose and space-constrained applications.With an external buffer and a simple resistor network, the TEMP pin can be used for temperature sensing and approximation. A TRIM pin is provided on the devices for fine adjustment of the output voltage.The ADR01, ADR02, ADR03, and ADR06 are compact, low drift voltage references that provide a stable output voltage from a wide supply voltage range. The devices are available in 5-lead SC70 and TSOT packages and an 8-lead SOIC package with A, B, and C grade selections. All devices are specified over the extended industrial (−40°C to +125°C) temperature range. The ADR42x are a series of ultraprecision, second generation eXtra implanted junction FET (XFET) voltage references featuring low noise, high accuracy, and excellent long-term stability in SOIC and MSOP footprints.Patented temperature drift curvature correction technique and XFET technology minimize nonlinearity of the voltage change with temperature. The XFET architecture offers superior accuracy and thermal hysteresis to the band gap references. It also operates at lower power and lower supply headroom than the buried Zener references.The superb noise and the stable and accurate characteristics of the ADR42x make them ideal for precision conversion applications such as optical networks and medical equipment. The ADR42x trim terminal can also be used to adjust the out-put voltage over a ±0.5% range without compromising any other performance. The ADR42x series voltage references offer two electrical grades and are specified over the extended industrial temperature range of −40°C to +125°C. The ADP3303 is a member of the ADP3300, ADP3301, andADP3309 family of precision low dropout anyCAP voltage regulators. The ADP3303 stands out from the conventional LDOs with a different architecture, an enhanced process, and adifferent package. Its patented design requires only a 0.47 μFoutput capacitor for stability. This device is insensitive to capacitor Equivalent Series Resistance (ESR) and is stable with any good quality capacitor, including ceramic types (MLCC) forspace restricted applications. The ADP3303 achievesexceptional accuracy of ±0.8% at room temperature and ±1.4%overall accuracy over temperature, line, and load regulations.The dropout voltage of the ADP3303 is only 180 mV (typical) at 200 mA.In addition to the architecture and process, the Analog Devices, Inc., proprietary thermally enhanced package (Thermal Coastline)can handle 1 W of power dissipation without external heatsink or large copper surface on the printed circuit board (PCB).This keeps PCB real estate to a minimum and makes theADP3303 very attractive for use in portable equipment.The ADP3303 operates with a wide input voltage range from 3.2 V to 12 V and delivers a load current in excess of 200 mA.It features an error flag that signals when the device is about to lose regulation or when the short circuit or thermal overloadprotection is activated. Other features include shutdown and optional noise reduction capabilities. The REF01 / REF02 / REF03 series of precision voltage references provide a stable 10.0 V, 5.0 V, or 2.5 V output with minimal change in response to variations in supply voltage, ambient temperature or load conditions. The devices are available in 8-lead SOIC, PDIP, CERDIP, and TO-99 packages, as well as 20-terminal LCC packages (883 only), furthering the usability of the devices in both standard and high stress applications.With an external buffer and a simple resistor network, the TEMP terminal can be used for temperature sensing and approximation. A TRIM terminal is also provided on the device for fine adjustment of the output voltage.The small footprint, wide supply range, and application versatility make the REF0x series of references ideal for general-purpose and space-constrained applications.Newer designs should use the ADR01 / ADR02 / ADR03 / ADR06 series of references, which offer higher accuracy and temperature stability over a wider operating temperature range, while maintaining full pin-for-pin compatibility with the REF01 / REF02 / REF03 series. The LTC2927 provides a simple solution to power supply tracking and sequencing requirements. By selecting a few resistors, the supply can be configured to ramp-up and ramp-down with differing ramp rates, voltage offsets, or time delays relative to other supplies or a master signal.By forcing current into a feedback node of an independent supply, the LTC2927 causes the output to track a ramp signal without inserting any pass element losses. Because the current is controlled in an open-loop manner, the LTC2927 does not affect the transient response or stability of the supply. The compact solution at point of load minimizes the trace length of the DC/DC circuit sensitive FB node.
