Analog Devices Inc.
The AD8494/AD8495/AD8496/AD8497 are precision instrumentation amplifiers with thermocouple cold junction compensators on an integrated circuit. They produce a high level (5 mV/°C) output directly from a thermocouple signal by combining an ice point reference with a precalibrated amplifier. They can be used as standalone thermometers or as switched output setpoint controllers using either a fixed or remote setpoint control.The AD8494/AD8495/AD8496/AD8497 can be powered from a single-ended supply (less than 3 V) and can measure temperatures below 0°C by offsetting the reference input. To minimize self-heating, an unloaded AD849x typically operates with a total supply current of 180 μA, but it is also capable of delivering in excess of ±5 mA to a load.The AD8494 and AD8496 are precalibrated by laser wafer trimming to match the characteristics of J type (iron-constantan) thermocouples; the AD8495 and AD8497 are laser trimmed to match the characteristics of K type (chromel-alumel) thermo-couples. See Table 1 on the data sheet for the optimized ambient temperature range of each part.The AD8494/AD8495/AD8496/AD8497 allow a wide variety of supply voltages. With a 5 V single supply, the 5 mV/°C output allows the devices to cover nearly 1000 degrees of a thermo-couple’s temperature range.The AD8494/AD8495/AD8496/AD8497 work with 3 V supplies, allowing them to interface directly to lower supply ADCs. They can also work with supplies as large as 36 V in industrial systems that require a wide common-mode input range.Product Highlights Complete, precision laser wafer trimmed thermocouple signal conditioning system in a single IC package. Flexible pinout provides for operation as a setpoint controller or as a standalone Celsius thermometer. Rugged inputs withstand 4 kV ESD and provide over-voltage protection (OVP) up to VS ± 25 V. Differential inputs reject common-mode noise on the thermocouple leads. Reference pin voltage can be offset to measure 0°C on single supplies. Available in a small, 8-lead MSOP that is fully RoHS compliant.Applications K type thermocouple temperature measurement Setpoint controller Celsius thermometer Universal cold junction compensator White goods (oven, stove top) temperature measurements Exhaust gas temperature sensing Catalytic converter temperature sensing div#landing_page_sec ul { padding:0 0 15px 10px; margin:0px; } div#landing_page_sec li { padding:3px 0 2px 20px; margin:0px; list-style:none; background:url(/static/imported-files/embedded_html/images/li_img.gif) no-repeat 7px 9px; display:block; color:#000000; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; }

EVAL-ADXL362Z-MLP
Analog Devices Inc.
The ADXL362 is an ultralow power, 3-axis MEMS accelerometer that consumes less than 2 μA at a 100 Hz output data rate and 270 nA when in motion triggered wake-up mode. Unlike accelerometers that use power duty cycling to achieve low power consumption, the ADXL362 does not alias input signals by undersampling; it samples the full bandwidth of the sensor at all data rates.The ADXL362 always provides 12-bit output resolution; 8-bit formatted data is also provided for more efficient single-byte transfers when a lower resolution is sufficient. Measurement ranges of ±2 g, ±4 g, and ±8 g are available, with a resolution of 1 mg/LSB on the ±2 g range. For applications where a noise level lower than the normal 550 μg/√Hz of the ADXL362 is desired, either of two lower noise modes (down to 175 μg/√Hz typical) can be selected at minimal increase in supply current.In addition to its ultralow power consumption, the ADXL362 has many features to enable true system level power reduction. It includes a deep multimode output FIFO, a built-in micropower temperature sensor, and several activity detection modes including adjustable threshold sleep and wake-up operation that can run as low as 270 nA at a 6 Hz (approximate) measurement rate. A pin output is provided to directly control an external switch when activity is detected, if desired. In addition, the ADXL362 has provisions for external control of sampling time and/or an external clock.The ADXL362 operates on a wide 1.6 V to 3.5 V supply range, and can interface, if necessary, to a host operating on a separate, lower supply voltage. The ADXL362 is available in a 3 mm × 3.25 mm × 1.06 mm package.APPLICATIONS Hearing aids Home healthcare devices Motion enabled power save switches Wireless sensors Motion enabled metering devices

ADXL357BEZ-RL7
Analog Devices Inc.
The analog output ADXL356 and the digital output ADXL357 are low noise density, low 0 g offset drift, low power, 3-axis accelerometers with selectable measurement ranges. The ADXL356B supports the ±10 g and ±20 g ranges, the ADXL356C supports the ±10 g and ±40 g ranges, and the ADXL357 supports the ±10 g, ±20 g, and ±40 g ranges.The ADXL356/ADXL357 offer industry leading noise, minimal offset drift over temperature, and long-term stability, enabling precision applications with minimal calibration.The low drift, low noise, and low power ADXL357 enables accurate tilt measurement in an environment with high vibration. The low noise of the ADXL356 over higherfrequencies is ideal for condition-based monitoring and other vibration sensing applications.The ADXL357 multifunction pin names may be referenced only by their relevant function for either the serial peripheral interface (SPI) or limited I2C interface.Applications Inertial measurement units (IMUs)/altitude and heading reference systems (AHRSs) Platform stabilization systems Structural health monitoring Seismic imaging Tilt sensing Robotics Condition monitoring

ADXRS645HDYZ
Analog Devices Inc.
The ADXRS645 is a high performance angular rate sensor with excellent vibration immunity for use in high temperature environments. The ADXRS645 is manufactured using the Analog Devices, Inc., patented high volume BiMOS surface-micromachining process with years of proven field reliability. An advanced, differential, quad sensor design provides superior acceleration and vibration rejection.The output signal, RATEOUT, is a voltage proportional to the angular rate about the axis normal to the package lid. The measurement range is a minimum of ±2000°/sec, and may be extended to ±5000°/sec with the addition of a single external resistor. The output is ratiometric with respect to a provided reference supply. Other external capacitors are required for operation.A temperature output is provided for compensation techniques. Two digital self-test inputs electromechanically excite the sensor to test proper operation of both the sensor and the signal conditioning circuits. The ADXRS645 is available in a 8 mm × 9 mm × 3 mm, 15-lead brazed lead tri in-line package.APPLICATIONS Down hole measurements for geological exploration Extreme high temperature industrial applications Severe mechanical environments
