The ADT7420 is a high accuracy digital temperature sensoroffering breakthrough performance over a wide industrialrange, housed in a 4 mm × 4 mm LFCSP package. It contains aninternal band gap reference, a temperature sensor, and a 16-bitADC to monitor and digitize the temperature to 0.0078°Cresolution. The ADC resolution, by default, is set to 13 bits(0.0625°C). The ADC resolution is a user programmable modethat can be changed through the serial interface.The ADT7420 is guaranteed to operate over supply voltages from2.7 V to 5.5 V. Operating at 3.3 V, the average supply current is typically210 μA. The ADT7420 has a shutdown mode that powersdown the device and offers a shutdown current of typically 2.0 μAat 3.3 V. The ADT7420 is rated for operation over the −40°C to+150°C temperature range.Pin A0 and Pin A1 are available for address selection, giving theADT7420 four possible I2C addresses. The ADXL312 is a small, thin, low power, 3-axis accelerometer with high resolution (13-bit) measurement up to ±12 g. Digital output data is formatted as 16-bit twos complement and is accessible through either a serial port interface (SPI) (3- or 4-wire) or I2C digital interface.The ADXL312 is well suited for car alarm or black box applications. It measures the static acceleration of gravity in tilt-sensing applications, as well as dynamic acceleration resulting from motion or shock. Its high resolution (2.9 mg/LSB) enables resolution of inclination changes of as little as 0.25°. A built-in FIFO facilitates using oversampling techniques to improve resolution to as little as 0.05° of inclination.Several special sensing functions are provided. Activity and inactivity sensing detects the presence or absence of motion and whether the acceleration on any axis exceeds a user-set level. These functions can be mapped to interrupt output pins. The ADT7411 combines a 10-bit temperature-to-digitalconverter and a 10-bit 8-channel ADC in a 16-lead QSOP. This includes a band gap temperature sensor and a 10-bit ADC to monitor and digitize the temperature reading to a resolution of0.25°C. The ADT7411 operates from a single 2.7 V to 5.5 Vsupply.
