AD9763ASTZ

Analog Devices Inc.
The AD9763/AD9765/AD9767 are dual-port, high speed, 2-channel, 10-/12-/14-bit CMOS DACs. Each part integrates two high quality TxDAC+® cores, a voltage reference, and digital interface circuitry into a small 48-lead LQFP. The AD9763/AD9765/AD9767 offer exceptional ac and dc performance while supporting update rates of up to 125 MSPS.The AD9763/AD9765/AD9767 have been optimized for processing I and Q data in communications applications. The digital interface consists of two double-buffered latches as well as control logic. Separate write inputs allow data to be written to the two DAC ports independent of one another. Separate clocks control the update rate of the DACs.A mode control pin allows the AD9763/AD9765/AD9767 to interface to two separate data ports, or to a single interleaved high speed data port. In interleaving mode, the input data stream is demuxed into its original I and Q data and then latched. The I and Q data is then converted by the two DACs and updated at half the input data rate. The GAINCTRL pin allows two modes for setting the full-scale current (IOUTFS) of the two DACs. IOUTFS for each DAC can be set independently using two external resistors, or IOUTFS for both DACs can be set by using a single external resistor. See the Gain Control Mode section for important date code information on this feature. The DACs utilize a segmented current source architecture combined with a proprietary switching technique to reduce glitch energy and maximize dynamic accuracy. Each DAC provides differential current output, thus supporting single-ended or differential applications. Both DACs of the AD9763, AD9765, or AD9767 can be simultaneously updated and can provide a nominal full-scale current of 20 mA. The full-scale currents between each DAC are matched to within 0.1%.The AD9763/AD9765/AD9767 are manufactured on an advanced, low cost CMOS process. They operate from a single supply of 3.3 V to 5 V and consume 380 mW of power.PRODUCT HIGHLIGHTSThe AD9763/AD9765/AD9767 are members of a pin-compatible family of dual TxDACs providing 8-, 10-, 12-, and 14-bit resolution.Dual 10-/12-/14-Bit, 125 MSPS DACs. A pair of high performance DACs for each part is optimized for low distortion performance and provides flexible transmission of I and Q information.Matching. Gain matching is typically 0.1% of full scale, and offset error is better than 0.02%.Low Power. Complete CMOS dual DAC function operates on 380 mW from a 3.3 V to 5 V single supply. The DAC full-scale current can be reduced for lower power operation, and a sleep mode is provided for low power idle periods.On-Chip Voltage Reference. The AD9763/AD9765/AD9767 each include a 1.20 V temperature-compensated band gap voltage reference.Dual 10-/12-/14-Bit Inputs. The AD9763/AD9765/AD9767 each feature a flexible dual-port interface, allowing dual or interleaved input data.APPLICATIONSCommunicationsBase stationsDigital synthesisQuadrature modulation3D ultrasound

Analog Devices Inc.
The AD9834 is a 75 MHz low power DDS device capable of producing high performance sine and triangular outputs. It also has an on-board comparator that allows a square wave to be produced for clock generation. Consuming only 20 mW of power at 3 V makes the AD9834 an ideal candidate for power-sensitive applications.Capability for phase modulation and frequency modulation is provided. The frequency registers are 28 bits; with a 75 MHz clock rate, resolution of 0.28 Hz can be achieved. Similarly, with a 1 MHz clock rate, the AD9834 can be tuned to 0.004 Hz resolution. Frequency and phase modulation are affected by loading registers through the serial interface and toggling the registers using software or the FSELECT pin and PSELECT pin, respectively. The AD9834 is written to using a 3-wire serial interface. This serial interface operates at clock rates up to 40 MHz and is compatible with DSP and microcontroller standards. The device operates with a power supply from 2.3 V to 5.5 V. The analog and digital sections are independent and can be run from different power supplies, for example, AVDD can equal 5 V with DVDD equal to 3 V.The AD9834 has a power-down pin (SLEEP) that allows external control of the power-down mode. Sections of the device that are not being used can be powered down to minimize the current consumption. For example, the DAC can be powered down when a clock output is being generated. The part is available in a 20-lead TSSOP.APPLICATIONS Frequency stimulus/waveform generation Frequency phase tuning and modulation Low power RF/communications systems Liquid and gas flow measurement Sensory applications: proximity, motion, and defect detection Test and medical equipment

ADA4841-1YRZ-R7

Analog Devices Inc.
The ADA4841-1 is a unity gain stable, low noiseand distortion, rail-to-rail output amplifier that has a quiescentcurrent of 1.5 mA maximum. In spite of its low powerconsumption, this amplifier offers low wideband voltagenoise performance of 2.1 nV/√Hz and 1.4 pA/√Hz current noise, along with excellent spurious-free dynamic range (SFDR) of−105 dBc at 100 kHz. To maintain a low noise environment atlower frequencies, the amplifier has low 1/f noise of 7 nV/√Hzand 13 pA/√Hz at 10 Hz.The ADA4841-1 output can swing to less than50 mV of either rail. The input common-mode voltage rangeextends down to the negative supply. The ADA4841-1 can drive up to 10 pF of capacitive load withminimal peaking. The ADA4841-1 provides the performance requiredto efficiently support emerging 16-bit to 18-bit ADCs and is ideal for portable instrumentation, high channel count, industrialmeasurement, and medical applications. The ADA4841-1 is ideally suited to drive the AD7685/AD7686,16-bit PulSAR ADCs.The ADA4841-1 package features RoHS compliantlead finishes. The amplifier is rated to work over theindustrial temperature range (−40°C to +125°C).Applications Low power, low noise signal processing Battery-powered instrumentation 16-bit PulSAR® ADC drivers
