The AD8065/AD80661 FastFET™ amplifiers are voltage feedback amplifiers with FET inputs offering high performance and ease of use. The AD8065 is a single amplifier, and the AD8066 is a dual amplifier. These amplifiers are developed in the Analog Devices, Inc. proprietary XFCB process and allow exceptionally low noise operation (7.0 nV/√Hz and 0.6 fA/√Hz) as well as very high input impedance.With a wide supply voltage range from 5 V to 24 V, the ability to operate on single supplies, and a bandwidth of 145 MHz, the AD8065/AD8066 are designed to work in a variety of applications. For added versatility, the amplifiers also contain rail-to-rail outputs.Despite the low cost, the amplifiers provide excellent overall performance. The differential gain and phase errors of 0.02% and 0.02°, respectively, along with 0.1 dB flatness out to 7 MHz, make these amplifiers ideal for video applications. Additionally, they offer a high slew rate of 180 V/µs, excellent distortion (SFDR of −88 dBc @ 1 MHz), extremely high common-mode rejection of −100 dB, and a low input offset voltage of 1.5 mV maximum under warmed up conditions. The AD8065/AD8066 operate using only a 6.4 mA/amplifier typical supply current and are capable of delivering up to 30 mA of load current.The AD8065/AD8066 are high performance, high speed, FET input amplifiers available in small packages: SOIC-8, MSOP-8, and SOT-23-5. The AD8183 (G = +1) and AD8185 (G = +2) are high speed Triple 2-to-1 multiplexers. They offer -3 dB full signal bandwidth up to 360 MHz along with slew rate in excess of 1000 V/µs. With better than -72 dB of all hostile crosstalk and 100 dB of isolation, they are useful in many high speed applications. The differential gain and differential phase error of 0.01% and 0.02°, along with 0.1 dB flatness to 90 MHz make AD8183 and AD8185 ideal for professional video and LCD multiplexing. They offer 15 ns switching time making them an excellent choice for switching video signals, while consuming less than 25 mA on ±5 V supply voltage.

The AD8188 (G = 1) is a high speed, single-supply, triple 2-to-1 multiplexer. It offers -3 dB small signal bandwidth of 350 MHz and -3 dB large signal bandwidth of 300 MHz, along with a slew rate in excess of 1000 V/µs. With -84 dB of all hostile crosstalk and -95 dB off isolation, the part is well suited for many high speed applications. The differential gain and differential phase error of 0.05% and 0.05° respectively, along with 0.1 dB flatness to 70 MHz, make the AD8188 ideal for professional and component video multiplexing. The part offers 4 ns switching time, making them an excellent choice for switching video signals, while consuming less than 20 mA on a single 5 V supply (100 mW). The device has a high speed disable feature that sets the outputs into a high impedance state. This allows the building of larger input arrays while minimizing off-channel output loading. The device is offered in a 24-lead TSSOP.

The AD8400 / AD8402 / AD8403 provide a single, dual or quad channel, 256 position digitally controlled variable resistor (VR) device. These devices perform the same electronic adjustment function as a potentiometer or variable resistor. The AD8400 contains a single variable resistor in the compact SO-8 package. The AD8402 contains two independent variable resistors in saving SO-14 surface mount package. The AD8403 contains four independent variable resistors in 24-lead PDIP, SOIC and TSSOP packages. Each part contains a fixed resistor with a wiper contact that taps the fixed resistor value at a point determined by a digital code loaded into the controlling serial input register. The resistance between the wiper and either endpoint of the fixed resistor varies linearly with respect to the digital code transferred into the VR latch. Each variable resistor offers a completely programmable value of resistance, between the A terminal and the wiper or the B terminal and the wiper. The fixed A to B terminal resistance of 1 kΩ, 10 kΩ, 50 kΩ or 100 kΩ has a ±1% channel-to-channel matching tolerance with a nominal temperature coefficient of 500 ppm/°C. A unique switching circuit minimizes the high glitch inherent in traditional switched resistor designs avoiding any make-before-break or break-before-make operation.Each VR has its own VR latch that holds its programmed resistance value. These VR latches are updated from an SPI compatible serial-to-parallel shift register that is loaded from a standard 3-wire serial-input digital interface. Ten data bits make up the data word clocked into the serial input register. The data word is decoded where the first two bits determine the address of the VR latch to be loaded, the last eight bits are data. A serial data output pin at the opposite end of the serial register allows simple daisy-chaining in multiple VR applications without additional external decoding logic.

The AD9763/AD9765/AD9767 are dual-port, high speed, 2-channel, 10-/12-/14-bit CMOS DACs. Each part integrates two high quality TxDAC+® cores, a voltage reference, and digital interface circuitry into a small 48-lead LQFP. The AD9763/AD9765/AD9767 offer exceptional ac and dc performance while supporting update rates of up to 125 MSPS.The AD9763/AD9765/AD9767 have been optimized for processing I and Q data in communications applications. The digital interface consists of two double-buffered latches as well as control logic. Separate write inputs allow data to be written to the two DAC ports independent of one another. Separate clocks control the update rate of the DACs.A mode control pin allows the AD9763/AD9765/AD9767 to interface to two separate data ports, or to a single interleaved high speed data port. In interleaving mode, the input data stream is demuxed into its original I and Q data and then latched. The I and Q data is then converted by the two DACs and updated at half the input data rate.The GAINCTRL pin allows two modes for setting the full-scale current (IOUTFS) of the two DACs. IOUTFS for each DAC can be set independently using two external resistors, or IOUTFS for both DACs can be set by using a single external resistor. See the Gain Control Mode section for important date code information on this feature.The DACs utilize a segmented current source architecture combined with a proprietary switching technique to reduce glitch energy and maximize dynamic accuracy. Each DAC provides differential current output, thus supporting single-ended or differential applications. Both DACs of the AD9763, AD9765, or AD9767 can be simultaneously updated and can provide a nominal full-scale current of 20 mA. The full-scale currents between each DAC are matched to within 0.1%.The AD9763/AD9765/AD9767 are manufactured on an advanced, low cost CMOS process. The ADA4941-1 is a low power, low noise differential driver foranalog-to-digital converters (ADCs) up to 18 bits in systemsthat are sensitive to power. The ADA4941-1 is configured in aneasy-to-use, single-ended-to-differential configuration andrequires no external components for a gain of 2 configuration.A resistive feedback network can be added to achieve gains greaterthan 2. The ADA4941-1 provides essential benefits, such as lowdistortion and high SNR that are required for driving highresolution ADCs.With a wide input voltage range (0 V to 3.9 V on a single 5 Vsupply), rail-to-rail output, high input impedance, and a user-adjustablegain, the ADA4941-1 is designed to drive single-supplyADCs with differential inputs found in a variety of low powerapplications, including battery-operated devices and singlesupplydata acquisition systems.The ADA4941-1 is ideal for driving the 16-bit and 18-bitPulSAR® ADCs, such as the AD7687, AD7690, and AD7691.The ADA4941-1 is manufactured on Analog Devices, Inc.,proprietary, second-generation, eXtra fast complementarybipolar (XFCB) process, which enables the amplifier to achieve18-bit performance on low supply currents.The ADA4941-1 is available in a small 8-lead LFCSP as well as astandard 8-lead SOIC and is rated to work over the extendedindustrial temperature range, −40°C to +125°C.
