The AD7780 is a complete low power front-end solution for bridge sensor products, including weigh scales, strain gages, and pressure sensors. It contains a precision, low power, 24-bit sigma-delta (?-?) ADC; an on-chip, low noise programmable gain amplifier (PGA); and an on-chip oscillator.Consuming only 330 ?A, the AD7780 is particularly suitable for portable or battery-operated products where very low power is required. The AD7780 also has a power-down mode that allows the user to switch off the power to the bridge sensor and power down the AD7780 when not converting, thus increasing the battery life of the product.For ease of use, all the features of the AD7780 are controlled by dedicated pins. Each time a data read occurs, eight status bits are appended to the 24-bit conversion. These status bits contain a pattern sequence that can be used to confirm the validity of the serial transfer.The on-chip PGA has a gain of 1 or 128, supporting a full-scale differential input of ?5 V or ?39 mV. The device has two filter response options. The filter response at the 16.7 Hz update rate provides superior dynamic performance. The settling time is 120 ms at this update rate. At the 10 Hz update rate, the filter response provides greater than ?45 dB of stop-band attenuation. In load cell applications, this stop-band rejection is useful to reject low frequency mechanical vibrations of the load cell. The settling time is 300 ms at this update rate. Simultaneous 50 Hz/60 Hz rejection occurs at both the 10 Hz and 16.7 Hz update rates.The AD7780 operates with a power supply from 2.7 V to 5.25 V. The ADGS1414D contains eight independent SPST switches. A serial peripheral interface (SPI) controls the switches. The SPI has robust error detection features, such as cyclic redundancy check (CRC) error detection, invalid read and write address detection, and SCLK count error detection. It is possible to daisy-chain multiple ADGS1414D devices together. Daisy-chain mode enables the configuration of multiple devices with a minimal amount of digital lines. The route of digital signals and supplies through the ADGS1414D allows for a further increase in channel density. Integrated passive components eliminate the need for external passive components. Each switch conducts equally well in both directions when on, and each switch has an input signal range that extends to the supplies. The ADuC7124?is a fully integrated, 1 MSPS, 12-bit data acquisition system incorporating high performance multichannel ADCs, 16-bit/32-bit MCUs, and Flash/EE memory on a single chip.The ADC consists of up to 12 single-ended inputs. An additional two inputs are available but are multiplexed with the two DAC output pins. The ADC can operate in single-ended or differential input mode. The ADC input voltage range is 0 V to VREF. A low drift band gap reference, temperature sensor, and voltage comparator complete the ADC peripheral set.The DAC output range is programmable to one of three voltage ranges. The DAC outputs have an enhanced feature of being able to retain their output voltage during a watchdog or software reset sequence.The device operates from an on-chip oscillator and a PLL generating an internal high frequency clock of 41.78 MHz. This clock is routed through a programmable clock divider from which the MCU core clock operating frequency is generated. The microcontroller core is an ARM7TDMI?, 16-bit/32-bit RISC machine, which offers up to 41 MIPS of peak performance. Thirty-two kilobytes of SRAM and 126 kB of nonvolatile Flash/EE memory are provided on-chip. The ARM7TDMI core views all memory and registers as a single linear array.The ADuC7124 contains an advanced interrupt controller. The vectored interrupt controller (VIC) allows every interrupt to be assigned a priority level. It also supports nested interrupts to a maximum level of eight per IRQ and FIQ. When IRQ and FIQ interrupt sources are combined, a total of 16 nested interrupt levels are supported.On-chip factory firmware supports in-circuit download via the UART serial interface port or the I2C port, while nonintrusive emulation is also supported via the JTAG interface. These features are incorporated into a low cost QuickStart? development system supporting this MicroConverter? family.The part contains a 16-bit PWM with six output signals.For communication purposes, the part contains 2? I2C channels that can be individually configured for master or slave mode. An SPI interface supporting both master and slave modes is also provided. Thirdly, 2? UART channels are provided. Each UART contains a configurable 16-bit FIFO with receive and transmit buffers.The part operates from 2.7 V to 3.6 V and is specified over an industrial temperature range of ?40?C to +125?C. When operating at 41.78 MHz, the power dissipation is typically 120 mW. The AD7794/AD7795 are low power, low noise, complete analog front ends for high precision measurement applications. They contain a low noise, 24-/16-bit ?-? ADC with six differential inputs. The on-chip low noise instrumentation amplifier means that signals of small amplitude can be interfaced directly to the ADC.Each device contains a precision, low noise, low drift internal band gap reference, and can also accept up to two external differential references. Other on-chip features include programmable excitation current sources, burnout currents, and a bias voltage generator that is used to set the common-mode voltage of a channel to AVDD/2. The low-side power switch can be used to power down bridge sensors between conversions, minimizing the system?s power consumption. The AD7794/AD7795 can operate with either an internal clock or an external clock. The output data rate from each part can vary from 4.17 Hz to 470 Hz.Both parts operate with a power supply from 2.7 V to 5.25 V. The B-grade parts (AD7794 and AD7795) are specified for a temperature range of ?40?C to +105?C while the C-grade part (AD7794) is specified for a temperature range of ?40?C to +125?C.
