AD7781CRZ
Analog Devices Inc.
The AD7781 is a complete low power front-end solution for bridge sensor products, including weigh scales, strain gages, and pressure sensors. It contains a precision low power 20-bit sigma-delta (Σ-Δ) ADC, an on-chip, low noise programmable gain amplifier (PGA), and an on-chip oscillator.Consuming only 330 μA, the AD7781 is particularly suitable forportable or battery-operated products where very low power is required. The AD7781 also has a power-down mode that allows the user to switch off the power to the bridge sensor and power down the AD7781 when not converting, thus increasing the battery life of the product. For ease of use, all the features of the AD7781 are controlled bydedicated pins. Each time that a data read occurs, eight status bits are appended to the 20-bit conversion. These status bits contain a pattern sequence that can be used to confirm the validity of the serial transfer. The on-chip PGA has a gain of 1 or 128, supporting a full-scaledifferential input of ±5 V or ±39 mV. The device has two filter response options. The filter response at the 16.7 Hz update rate provides superior dynamic performance. The settling time is 120 ms at this update rate. At the 10 Hz update rate, the filter response provides better than -45 dB of stop-band attenuation. In load cell applications, this stop-band rejection is useful to reject low frequency mechanical vibrations of the load cell. The settling time is 300 ms at this update rate. Simultaneous 50 Hz/60 Hzrejection occurs at both the 10 Hz and 16.7 Hz update rates. The AD7781 operates with a power supply from 2.7 V to 5.25 V.It is available in a narrow body, 14-lead SOIC package and in a 16-lead TSSOP package.ApplicationsWeigh scalesPressure measurementIndustrial process controlPortable instrumentation

The AD8278 and AD8279 are general-purpose difference amplifiers intended for precision signal conditioning in power critical applications that require both high performance and low power. The AD8278 and AD8279 provide exceptional common-mode rejection ratio (80 dB) and high bandwidth while amplifying input signals that are well beyond the supply rails. The on-chip resistors are laser trimmed for excellent gain accuracy and high CMRR. They also have extremely low gain drift vs. temperature. The common-mode range of the amplifier extends to almost triple the supply voltage (for G = ½), making the amplifer ideal for single-supply applications that require a high common-mode voltage range. The internal resistors and ESD circuitry at the inputs also provide overvoltage protection to the op amp.The AD8278 and AD8279 can be used as difference amplifiers with G = ½ or G = 2. They can also be connected in a high precision, single-ended configuration for non inverting and inverting gains of −½, −2, +3, +2, +1½, +1, or +½. The AD8278 and AD8279 provide an integrated precision solution that has a smaller size, lower cost, and better performance than a discrete alternative. The AD8278 and AD8279 operate on single supplies (2.0 V to 36 V) or dual supplies (±2 V to ±18 V). The maximum quiescent supply current is 200 μA, which is ideal for battery-operated and portable systems. AD8475ARMZ
Analog Devices Inc.
The AD8475 is a fully differential, attenuating amplifier with integrated precision gain resistors. It provides precision attenuation (by 0.4 or 0.8), common-mode level shifting, and single-ended-to-differential conversion along with input overvoltage protection. Power dissipation on a single 5 V supply is only 16 mW.The AD8475 is a simple to use, fully integrated precision gain block, designed to process signal levels of up to ±10 V on a single supply. It provides a complete interface to make industrial level signals directly compatible with the differential input ranges of low voltage high performance 16-bit or 18-bit single-supply successive approximation (SAR) analog-to-digital converters (ADCs).The AD8475 comes with two standard pin-selectable gain options: 0.4 and 0.8. The gain of the part is set by driving the input pin corresponding to the appropriate gain. The AD8475 also provides overvoltage protection from large industrial input voltages up to ±15 V while operating on a single 5 V supply. The VOCM pin adjusts the output voltage common mode for precision level shifting, to match the ADC’s input range and maximize dynamic range. The AD8475 works extremely well with SAR, Σ-Δ, and pipeline converters. The high current output stage of the part allows it to drive the switched capacitor front-end circuits of many ADCs with minimal error.Unlike many differential drivers in the market, the AD8475 is a high precision amplifier. With 500 μV maximum output offset, 10 nV/√Hz output noise, and −112 dB THD + N, the AD8475 pairs well with high accuracy converters. Considering its low power consumption and high precision, the slew-enhanced AD8475 has excellent speed, settling to 18-bit precision for 4 MSPS acquisition. The AD8475 is available in a space-saving 16-lead 3 mm × 3 mm LFCSP package and a 10-lead MSOP package. It is fully specified over the −40°C to +85°C temperature range.Applications ADC drivers Differential instrumentation amplifier building blocks Single-ended-to-differential converters

AD9266BCPZ-65
Analog Devices Inc.
The AD9266 is a monolithic, single-channel 1.8 V supply,16-bit, 20 MSPS/40 MSPS/65 MSPS/80 MSPS analog-to-digitalconverter (ADC). It features a high performance sample-and-holdcircuit and on-chip voltage reference. The product uses multistage differential pipeline architecturewith output error correction logic to provide 16-bit accuracy at80 MSPS data rates and to guarantee no missing codes over thefull operating temperature range. The ADC contains several features designed to maximizeflexibility and minimize system cost, such as programmableclock and data alignment and programmable digital test patterngeneration. The available digital test patterns include built-indeterministic and pseudorandom patterns, along with customuser-defined test patterns entered via the serial port interface (SPI).A differential clock input with a selectable internal 1-to-8 divideratio controls all internal conversion cycles. An optional duty cyclestabilizer (DCS) compensates for wide variations in the clock dutycycle while maintaining excellent overall ADC performance. The interleaved digital output data is presented in offset binary, gray code, or twos complement format. A DCO is provided toensure proper latch timing with receiving logic. Both 1.8 V and3.3 V CMOS levels are supported. The AD9266 is available in a 32-lead RoHS-compliant LFCSPand is specified over the industrial temperature range (−40°Cto +85°C).Product Highlights The AD9266 operates from a single 1.8 V analog power supply and features a separate digital output driver supply to accommodate 1.8 V to 3.3 V logic families. The sample-and-hold circuit maintains excellent performance for input frequencies up to 200 MHz and is designed for low cost, low power, and ease of use. A standard serial port interface supports various product features and functions, such as data output formatting, internal clock divider, power-down, DCO and data output (D15_D14 to D1_D0) timing and offset adjustments, and voltage reference modes. The AD9266 is packaged in a 32-lead RoHS-compliant LFCSP that is pin compatible with the AD9609 10-bit ADC, the AD9629 12-bit ADC, and the AD9649 14-bit ADC, enabling a simple migration path between 10-bit and 16-bit converters sampling from 20 MSPS to 80 MSPS.Applications Communications Diversity radio systems Multimode digital receivers GSM, EDGE, W-CDMA, LTE, CDMA2000, WiMAX, TD-SCDMA Smart antenna systems Battery-powered instruments Handheld scope meters Portable medical imaging Ultrasound Radar/LIDAR PET/SPECT imaging
