ADL5565-EVALZ

Analog Devices Inc.
The ADL5565 is a high performance differential amplifier optimized for RF and IF applications. The amplifier offers low noise of 1.5 nV/√Hz and excellent distortion performance over a wide frequency range making it an ideal driver for high speed 8-bit to 16-bit analog-to-digital converters (ADCs).The ADL5565 provides three gain levels of 6 dB, 12 dB, and 15.5 dB through a pin strappable configuration. For the single-ended input configuration, the gains are reduced to 5.3 dB, 10.3 dB, and 13 dB. Using two external series resistors expands the gain flexibility of the amplifier and allows for any gain selection from 0 dB to 15.5 dB for a differential input and 0 dB to 13 dB for a single-ended input. The quiescent current of the ADL5565 is typically 70 mA, and when disabled, consumes less than 5 mA with −25 dB of input-to-output isolation at 100 MHz.The device is optimized for wideband, low distortion, and noise performance, giving it unprecedented performance for overall spurious-free dynamic range. These attributes, together with its adjustable gain capability, make this device the amplifier of choice for driving a wide variety of ADCs, mixers, pin diode attenuators, SAW filters, and multielement discrete devices.Fabricated on an Analog Devices, Inc., high speed SiGe process, the ADL5565 is supplied in a compact 3 mm × 3 mm, 16-lead LFCSP package and operates over the −40°C to +85°C temperature range.APPLICATIONS Differential ADC drivers Single-ended-to-differential conversion RF/IF gain blocks SAW filter interfacing

ADL6010-EVALZ

Analog Devices Inc.
The ADL6010 is a versatile, broadband envelope detector covering the microwave spectrum. It provides state-of-the-art accuracy with very low power consumption (8 mW) in a simple, easy to use 6-lead format. The output is a baseband voltage proportional to the instantaneous amplitude of the radio frequency (RF) input signal. It exhibits minimal slope variation of the RF input to envelope output transfer function from 0.5 GHz to 43.5 GHz.The detector cell uses a proprietary eight Schottky diode array followed by a novel linearizer circuit that creates a linear voltmeter with an overall scaling factor (or transfer gain) of nominally ×2.2 relative to the voltage amplitude of the input.Although the ADL6010 is not inherently a power responding device, it remains convenient to specify the input in this way. Thus, the permissible input power, relative to a 50 Ω source input impedance, ranges from −30 dBm to +15 dBm. The corresponding input voltage amplitudes of 11.2 mV to 1.8 V generate quasi-dc outputs from about 25 mV to 4 V above common (COMM).A subtle aspect of the balanced detector topology is that no even-order distortion, caused by nonlinear source loading, occurs at the input. This is an important benefit in applications where a low ratio coupler is used to extract a signal sample and is a significant improvement over traditional diode detectors. The power equivalent of a fluctuating RF input amplitude can be extracted by the addition of an rms-to-dc converter IC. Alternatively, the baseband output can be applied to a suitably fast analog-to-digital converter (ADC) and the rms value (and other signal metrics, such as peak to average ratio) calculated in the digital domain. The output response accuracy is insensitive to variation in the supply voltage, which can range from 4.75 V to 5.25 V. The ultralow power dissipation contributes to its long-term stability. The ADL6010ACPZN is specified for operation from −40°C to +85°C, and the ADL6010SCPZN is specified for operation from −55°C to +125°C. Both are available in a 6-lead, 2 mm × 2 mm LFCSP package.Applications Microwave point to point links Microwave instrumentation Radar-based measurement systems

ADM8324WCA29ARJZR7

Analog Devices Inc.
The ADM8323/ADM8324 are supervisory circuits that monitor power supply voltage levels and code execution integrity in microprocessor-based systems. An on-chip watchdog timer checks for activity within a preset timeout window. A reset signal can also be asserted by an external push-button switch through a manual reset input. The RESET output is either push-pull (ADM8323) or open-drain (ADM8324).A watchdog failure results in a low output on the RESET pin. A failure can be triggered either by a fast watchdog error (watchdog pulses too close together) or by a slow watchdog error (no watchdog pulse within the timeout period). This effectively gives a window to observe the watchdog pulse. The watchdog timeout is measured from the last falling edge of the watchdog input (WDI). There are eight different watchdog windows available, as shown in Table 5.Each device is available in a choice of 26 reset threshold options from 2.5 V to 5 V in 100 mV increments. There are also four reset timeout options of 1 ms, 20 ms, 140 ms, and 1120 ms (minimum). Not all device options are available as standard models. See the Ordering Guide for details. The ADM8323/ADM8324 are available in a 5-lead SOT-23 package and typically consume only 10 μA, making them suitable for use in low power portable applications.Applications Automotive Microprocessor systems Computers Controllers Intelligent instruments Portable equipment

ADA4945-1ACPZ-R7

Analog Devices Inc.
The ADA4945-1 is a low noise, low distortion, fully differential amplifier with two selectable power modes. The device operates over a broad power supply range of 3 V to 10 V. The low dc offset, dc offset drift, and excellent dynamic performance of the ADA4945-1 makes it well suited for a variety of data acquisition and signal processing applications. The device is an ideal choice for driving high resolution, high performance successive approximation register (SAR) and Σ-Δ analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) on 4 mA of quiescent current (full power mode). The device can also be selected to operate on 1.4 mA of quiescent current (low power mode) to scale the power consumption to the desired performance necessary for an ADC drive application. The adjustable common-mode voltage allows the ADA4945-1 to match the input common-mode voltage of multiple ADCs. The internal common-mode feedback loop provides exceptional output balance, as well as suppression of even order harmonic distortion products. With the ADA4945-1, differential gain configurations are achieved with a simple external feedback network of four resistors determining the closed-loop gain of the amplifier. The ADA4945-1 is fabricated using Analog Devices, Inc., proprietary, silicon germanium (SiGe), complementary bipolar process, enabling the device to achieve low levels of distortion with an input voltage noise of only 1.8 nV/√Hz (full power mode). The ADA4945-1 is available in a RoHS-complaint, 3 mm × 3 mm, 16-lead LFCSP.
