The ADM3055E/ADM3057E are 5 kV rms and 3 kV rms isolated controller area network (CAN) physical layer transceivers with integrated isolated dc-to-dc converters. The ADM3055E/ADM3057E meet flexible data rate (CAN FD) requirements for operation to 5 Mbps and higher and comply with the ISO 11898-2: 2016 standard. The ADM3055E/ADM3057E are capable of supporting data rates as high as 12 Mbps.The devices employ Analog Devices, Inc., iCoupler? technology to combine a 3-channel isolator, a CAN transceiver, and an Analog Devices isoPower? dc-to-dc converter into a single, surface-mount, small outline integrated circuit (SOIC) package. The devices are powered by a single 5 V supply, realizing a fully isolated solution for CAN and CAN FD. Radiated emissions from the high frequency switching of the dc-to-dc convertors are kept below EN 55022 Class B limits by continuous adjustments to the switching frequency.The ADM3055E/ADM3057E provide complete isolation between the CAN controller and physical layer bus. Safety and regulatory approvals (pending) for 5 kV rms isolation voltage, 10 kV surge test, and 8.3 mm creepage and clearance ensure the ADM3055E meets application reinforced isolation requirements. The ADM3057E has an isolation voltage of 3 kV rms and 7.8 mm creepage in a 20-lead, wide body SOIC.Low propagation delays through the isolation support longer bus cables. Slope control mode is available for standard CAN at low data rates. Standby mode minimizes power consumption when the bus is idle or if the node goes offline. Silent mode allows the TXD input to be ignored for listen only mode.Dominant timeout functionality protects against bus lock up in a fault condition. The current limiting and thermal shutdown features protect against output short circuits. LTC7800 Demo Board | 8 ≥ VIN ≥ 40V, VOUT = 3.3V @ 10A

Demonstration circuit 2786A is a single output high voltage non-isolated synchronous step-down converter that drives an all N-channel MOSFET power stage. It features the LTC7800, a low quiescent current high frequency (programmable fixed frequency from 320kHz up to 2.25MHz) synchronous step-down DC/DC controller housed in a small 3mm x 4mm QFN package. This DC2786A operates over an input voltage range from 8V to 40V, while the LTC7800 can operate up to 60V. This demo board produces a 3.3V output voltage with up to 10A output current, and is configured with a sense resistor for current sensing. A mode selector allows the DC2786A to operate in forced continuous operation, pulse-skipping or Burst Mode® operation during light loads. The LTC7800 features two integrated 5V gate drivers with 20ns deadtime which is good for GaN transistors or logic-level MOSFETs to maximize efficiency. The EXTVCC pin permits the LTC7800 to be powered from the output of the switching regulator or other available source, reducing power dissipation and improving efficiency. Demonstration circuit 2718A is a no-opto flyback converter featuring the LT8316. The demo board outputs 12V and maintains tight regulation with a load current from 30mA to 3A. It is optimized to operate over a wide 100V to 600V DC input voltage range. Output voltage accuracy stays within ±5% over the entire input voltage and load range. The LT8316 is a high voltage flyback controller. No optoisolator is needed for regulation. The part samples the output voltage from the isolated flyback waveform appearing across a third winding on the transformer. Quasi-resonant boundary mode operation improves load regulation. The LT8316 is available in a thermally enhanced 20-pin TSSOP package with four pins removed for high-voltage spacing. The ADF4368 is a high performance, ultralow jitter, integer-N and fractional-N phase-locked loop (PLL) with integrated VCO ideally suited for frequency conversion applications.The high performance PLL has a figure of merit of -239dBc/Hz, very low 1/f Noise of normalized -287dBc/Hz and high PFD frequency that can achieve ultralow in-band noise and integrated jitter. The ADF4368 can generate any frequency from 800 MHz to 12.8 GHz without an internal doubler, thereby eliminating the need for sub-harmonic filters. Σ-Δ modulator includes a 25-bit fixed modulus which allows hertz frequency resolution and an additional 24-bit variable modulus which allows even finer resolution and flexibility for frequency planning. 9 dBm output power at 12.8 GHz in single ended configuration with 16 step power adjust feature makes it very useful for any application.For multiple frequency conversion applications such as phase array radar or massive MIMO systems, the outputs of multiple ADF4368 can be aligned by using SYNC input or EZSync. EZSync method is used when it is difficult to distribute the SYNC signal to all parts precisely. The AD8476 is a very low power, fully differential precision amplifier with integrated gain resistors for unity gain. It is an ideal choice for driving low power, high performance ADCs as a single-ended-to-differential or differential-to-differential amplifier. It provides a precision gain of 1, common-mode level shifting, low temperature drift, and rail-to-rail outputs for maximum dynamic range.The AD8476 also provides overvoltage protection from large industrial input voltages up to ±23 V while operating on a dual 5 V supply. Power dissipation on a single 5 V supply is only 1.5 mW.The AD8476 works well with SAR, Σ-Δ, and pipeline converters. The high current output stage of the part allows it to drive the switched capacitor front-end circuits of many ADCs with minimal error.Unlike many differential drivers on the market, the AD8476 is a high precision amplifier. With 200 μV maximum output offset, 39 nV/√Hz noise, and −102 dB THD + N at 10 kHz, the AD8476 pairs well with low power, high accuracy converters.Considering its low power consumption and high precision, the slew-enhanced AD8476 has excellent speed, settling to 16-bit precision for 250 kSPS acquisition times.The AD8476 is available in a space-saving 8-lead MSOP package.
