The LTC6900 is a precision, low power oscillator that is easy to use and occupies very little PC board space. The oscillator frequency is programmed by a single external resistor (RSET). The LTC6900 has been designed for high accuracy operation (?1.5% frequency error) without the need for external trim components. The LTC6900 operates with a single 2.7V to 5.5V power supply and provides a rail-to-rail, 50% duty cycle square wave output. The CMOS output driver ensures fast rise/fall times and rail-to-rail switching. The frequency-setting resistor can vary from 10k? to 2M? to select a master oscillator frequency between 100kHz and 20MHz (5V supply). The three-state DIV input determines whether the master clock is divided by 1, 10 or 100 before driving the output, providing three frequency ranges spanning 1kHz to 20MHz (5V supply). The LTC6900 features a proprietary feedback loop that linearizes the relationship between RSET and frequency, eliminating the need for tables to calculate frequency. Demo circuit 1069A is a monolithic step-down switching regulator with LDO featuring LT3500. The demo circuit is designed for 5.0V and 3.3V outputs from a 6V to 36V input. The LDO output is configured as a post-regulator of the switching regulator output. The total current capability is up to 2A. The switching regulator can be synchronized to an external clock input or be resistor-programmed to a 250kHz to 2.2MHz internal oscillator. Programmable frequency allows for optimization between efficiency and external component size. Cycle-by-cycle current limit, frequency foldback and thermal shutdown provide protections against a shorted output. The soft-start feature controls the ramp rate of the output voltage, eliminates input current surge during startup, and also provides output tracking.

The LTM4650-1A/LTM4650-1B is dual 25A or single 50A output step-down ?Module? Demonstration circuit 1045 is a Telecom isolated DC/DC converter featuring the LTC3805 constant frequency current mode flyback controller. The DC1045 converts 36V to 72V input voltage to an isolated 3A of output current at 3.3V. The 200kHz constant frequency operation is maintained down to very light load to reduce low frequency noise generated over a wide range of load current.

The LTC3880/LTC3880-1 are dual, PolyPhase DC/DC synchronous step-down switching regulator controllers with an I2C-based PMBus compliant serial interface. The controllers use a constant frequency, current mode architecture that is supported by LTpowerPlay? software development tool with graphical user interface (GUI).Switching frequency, output voltage, and device address can be programmed using external configuration resistors.
