The AD9763/AD9765/AD9767 offer exceptional ac and dc performancewhile supporting update rates of up to 125 MSPS.The AD9763/AD9765/AD9767 have been optimized forprocessing I and Q data in communications applications. Thedigital interface consists of two double-buffered latches as well as control logic. Separate write inputs allow data to be written to the two DAC ports independent of one another. Separate clocks control the update rate of the DACs.A mode control pin allows the AD9763/AD9765/AD9767 to interface to two separate data ports, or to a single interleavedhigh speed data port. In interleaving mode, the input datastream is demuxed into its original I and Q data and then latched. The I and Q data is then converted by the two DACsand updated at half the input data rate.The GAINCTRL pin allows two modes for setting the full-scale current (IOUTFS) of the two DACs. IOUTFS for each DAC can be set independently using two external resistors, or IOUTFS for both DACs can be set by using a single external resistor. See theGain Control Mode section for important date codeinformation on this feature.The DACs utilize a segmented current source architecturecombined with a proprietary switching technique to reduce glitch energy and maximize dynamic accuracy. Each DAC providesdifferential current output, thus supporting single-ended or differential applications. The AD9923A is a complete 36 MHz front-end solution for digital still cameras and other CCD imaging applications. Similar to the AD9923 product, the AD9923A includes the analog front end (AFE), a fully programmable timing generator (TG), and a 15-channel vertical driver (V-driver). A Precision Timing core allows adjustment of high speed clocks with approximately 600 ps resolution at 36 MHz operation.The on-chip V-driver supports up to 15 channels for use with 5-field, 10-phase CCDs.The analog front end includes black level clamping, CDS, VGA, and a 12-bit ADC. The AD1974 is a high performance, single-chip ADC that provides four analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) with differential inputs using the Analog Devices, Inc. patented multibit sigma-delta (Σ-Δ) architecture. An SPI port is included, allowing a microcontroller to enable mutes and adjust many other parameters. The AD1974 operates from 3.3 V digital and analog supplies. The AD1974 is available in a single-ended output 48-lead LQFP.The AD1974 is designed for low EMI. This consideration is apparent in both the system and circuit design architectures. By using the on-board phase-locked loop (PLL) to derive the master clock from the LR clock or from an external crystal, the AD1974 eliminates the need for a separate high frequency master clock and can also be used with a suppressed bit clock. The ADCs are designed using the latest continuous time architectures from Analog Devices to further minimize EMI. The AD5372 / AD5373 contain 32, 16-bit or 14-bit digital-to-analog converters (DACs) in a single 64-lead LQFP. The devices provide buffered voltage outputs with a nominal span of 4× the reference voltage. The gain and offset of each DAC can be independently trimmed to remove errors. For even greater flexibility, the device is divided into four groups of eight DACs. Two offset DACs allow the output range of the groups to be altered. Group 0 can be adjusted by Offset DAC 0, and Group 1 to Group 3 can be adjusted by Offset DAC 1.The AD5372 / AD5373 offer guaranteed operation over a wide supply range: VSS from −16.5 V to −4.5 V and VDD from 9 V to 16.5 V. The output amplifier headroom requirement is 1.4 V operating with a load current of 1 mA.The AD5372 / AD5373 have a high-speed serial interface, which is compatible with SPI, QSPI™, MICROWIRE™, and DSP interface standards and can handle clock speeds of up to 50 MHz.The DAC registers are updated on reception of new data. All the outputs can be updated simultaneously by taking the LDAC input low. Each channel has a programmable gain and an offset adjust register.Each DAC output is gained and buffered on-chip with respect to an external SIGGNDx input.
