Demonstration circuit DC1477B features the LTM4609EV, the high voltage, high efficiency, high density switch mode buck-boost power module. The LTM4609EV regulates an output voltage above, below, or equal to the input voltage. DC1477B accepts an input voltage from 10V to 36V with a preset output voltage of 30V at up to 3A. Derating may be necessary for certain VIN, VOUT, and thermal conditions. An optional input π filter is added on the DC1477B to minimize the input ripple. The switching frequency may be synchronized to an external clock from 200kHz to 400kHz to reduce undesirable frequency harmonics and/or parallel multiple modules for even higher output current.

The LT1339 is a high power synchronous current mode switching regulator controller. The IC drives dual N-channel MOSFETs to create a single IC solution for high power DC/DC converters in applications up to 60V.The LT1339 incorporates programmable average current limiting, allowing accurate limiting of DC load current independent of inductor ripple current. The IC also incorporates user-adjustable slope compensation for minimization of magnetics at duty cycles up to 90%.The LT1339 timing oscillator operating frequency is programmable and can be synchronized up to 150kHz. The LTM8045 is a ?Module? (power module) DC/DC converter that can be configured as a SEPIC or inverting converter by simply grounding the appropriate output rail. In a SEPIC configuration the regulated output voltage can be above, below or equal to the input voltage. The LTM8045 includes power devices, inductors, control circuitry and passive components. All that is needed to complete the design are input and output capacitors, and small resistors to set the output voltage and switching frequency. Demonstration circuit DC1555C is intended to demonstrate the performance of the LTC4365 and LTC4365-1 Undervoltage, Overvoltage and Reverse Supply Protection Controllers. The LTC4365/LTC4365-1 protect circuits from input voltages that may be too high, too low or negative. It operates by controlling the gates of two back-to-back connected MOSFETs to keep the output in a safe range. The OV and UV protection levels are adjusted by resistive dividers at the OV and UV pins. Asserting the SHDN pin disables the MOSFETs and places the controller in a low-current shutdown state. The FAULT pin is asserted when the Controller is in shutdown mode or when the input voltage is outside of the UV or OV level.

The LTC3615/LTC3615-1 are dual 3A synchronous stepdown regulators using a current mode, constant-frequency architecture.
