The LTC3290 is a high voltage boost charge pump with a wide 4.5V to 55V input voltage range that can deliver up to 50mA of output current. When the VSET pin is grounded, the LTC3290 operates as a standard boost charge pump, boosting the VOUT output to a maximum of the sum of the VIN and VAUX input supplies. An external resistor divider can be used on the VOUT, FB and GND pins to set the output voltage to any value between 1V and VIN + VAUX with hysteretic Burst?Mode operation.Alternatively, the device can be configured in a VIN tracking mode, in which the VOUT pin regulates at a fixed offset above the VIN pin. The offset voltage is programmed with external resistors, one from the VOUT to the VSET pin and the other from the FB pin to GND. The maximum output voltage is limited to VIN + VAUX.The LTC3290 is available in a thermally enhanced 10-pin MSOP package.Applications High Efficiency General Purpose High Voltage Boost Supplies? The LTC3890-3 is a high performance dual step-down switching regulator DC/DC controller that drives all N-channel synchronous power MOSFET stages. A constant frequency current mode architecture allows a phase-lockable frequency of up to 850kHz. Power loss and supply noise are minimized by operating the two controller output stages out-of-phase.The 50?A no-load quiescent current extends operating life in battery-powered systems. OPTI-LOOP? compensation allows the transient response to be optimized over a wide range of output capacitance and ESR values. A wide 4V to 60V input supply range encompasses a wide range of intermediate bus voltages and battery chemistries.Independent TRACK/SS pins for each controller ramp the output voltages during start-up. Current mode control limits the inductor current during short-circuit conditions. The PLLIN/MODE pin selects among Burst Mode operation, pulse-skipping mode, or continuous conduction mode at light loads. For versions with different and/or additional features, see the LTC3890 family summary, Table 1, in the Pin Functions section of this data sheet. The LTC3838 is a dual, PolyPhase? synchronous step-down DC/DC switching regulator controller. Two independent channels drive all N-channel power MOSFETs. The controlled on-time, valley current mode control architecture allows for fast transient response and constant frequency switching in steady-state operation, independent of VIN, VOUT and load current. Its load-release transient detection feature significantly reduces overshoot at low output voltages.Differential output voltage sensing, along with a precision internal reference, offers an accurate ?0.67% output regulation on Channel 1, even if the remote output ground deviates from local ground by ?500mV. The second channel can either provide an independent ?1% output, or together with the first channel of this controller, serve as one of the PolyPhase channels for a single-output voltage. The switching frequency can be programmed from 200kHz to 2MHz with an external resistor, and can be synchronized to an external clock. Very low tON and tOFF times allow for near 0% and near 100% duty cycles, respectively. Voltage tracking soft start-up and multiple safety features are provided.See below for a comparison of LTC3838, LTC3838-1 and LTC3838-2. LT3990EMSE Demo Board | 6.5V ≤ VIN ≤ 60V, VOUT = 5V @ 350mA, Integrated Diodes

Analog Devices Inc.
Demonstration circuit 1471 is a monolithic step-down DC/DC switching regulator featuring the LT3990. The switching frequency is adjustable up to 2.2MHz. The demo circuit is designed for 5V, 350mA output from a 6.5V to 62V input. The wide input range of the LT3990 allows a variety of input sources including automotive batteries and 24V industrial supplies. Low ripple Burst Mode increases the efficiency at the light load while keeping the output ripple below 5mV in a typical application. The part is in shutdown when the EN pin is low and active when the pin is high. The threshold of the EN pin is accurate at 1V when VIN is above 4.2V. Adding a resistor divider from VIN to EN can program the LT3990 to regulate the output only when VIN is above a desired voltage. The catch diode and boost diode are integrated to reduce the components count and solution size. The circuit consumes only 2.5μA of quiescent current.

LTC3614EUDD Demo Board | 4A, 4MHz Monolithic Synchronous Step-Down DC/DC Converter

Analog Devices Inc.
Demo Circuit 1467 is a high efficiency, high frequency step-down converter, incorporating the LTC3614 monolithic synchronous regulator. The DC1467A has an input voltage range of 2.25V to 5.5V, and is capable of delivering up to 4A of output current. The output voltage of the DC1467A can be set as low as 0.6V, the reference voltage of the LTC3614. The operating frequency range of the DC1467A is either set to a fixed 2.25 MHz by connecting the frequency pin to SVin, set by an external resistor, or synchronized to an external clock, with a range up to 4 MHz. At low load currents, the DC1467A can operate in either noise sensitive applications, due to the capability of the LTC3614 to operate in pulse-skipping mode, or in high efficiency applications, because the LTC3614 also has Burst-Mode capability. The Burst Mode clamp can be set externally.
