The ADG901/ADG902 are wideband switches that use a complementary metal-oxide semiconductor (CMOS) process to provide high isolation and low insertion loss to 1 GHz. The ADG901 is an absorptive (matched) switch with 50 ? terminated shunt legs, while the ADG902 is a reflective switch. These devices are designed such that the isolation is high over the dc to 1 GHz frequency range. These switches enable the user to pass dc signals up to 0.5 V without the use of a dc blocking capacitor. They have on-board CMOS control logic, thus eliminating the need for external controlling circuitry. The control inputs are both CMOS and LVTTL compatible. The ADL5902 is a true rms responding power detector that hasa 65 dB measurement range when driven with a single-ended 50 Ω source. This feature makes the ADL5902 frequencyversatile by eliminating the need for a balun or any other form of external input tuning for operation up to 9 GHz.The ADL5902 provides a solution in a variety of high frequencysystems requiring an accurate measurement of signal power. Requiring only a single supply of 5 V and a few capacitors, it is easy to use and capable of being driven single-ended or with abalun for differential input drive. The ADL5902 can operate from 50 MHz to 9 GHz and can accept inputs from −62 dBm to at least +3 dBm with large crest factors, such as GSM, CDMA,W-CDMA, TD-SCDMA, WiMAX, and LTE modulated signals.The ADL5902 can determine the true power of a high frequency signal having a complex low frequency modulation envelope or can be used as a simple low frequency rmsvoltmeter. Used as a power measurement device, VOUT isconnected to VSET. The output is then proportional to thelogarithm of the rms value of the input. In other words, thereading is presented directly in decibels and is scaled 1.06 V per decade, or 53 mV/dB; other slopes are easily arranged. In controller mode, the voltage applied to VSET determines thepower level required at the input to null the deviation from the set point. The output buffer can provide high load currents.The ADL5902 has 1.5 mW power consumption when powereddown by a logic high applied to the PWDN pin. It powers up within approximately 5 μs to its nominal operating current of 73 mA at 25°C. The ADL5902 is supplied in a 4 mm × 4 mm,16-lead LFCSP for operation over the wide temperature rangeof −40°C to +125°C.The ADL5902 is also pin-compatible with the AD8363, 50 dBdynamic range TruPwr™ detector. This feature allows the designer to create one circuit layout for projects requiring different dynamic ranges. The ADRF6702 provides a quadrature modulator and synthesizer solution within a small 6 mm × 6 mm footprint while requiring minimal external components.The ADRF6702 is designed for RF outputs from 1200 MHz to 2400 MHz. The low phase noise VCO and high performance quadrature modulator make the ADRF6702 suitable for next generation communication systems requiring high signal dynamic range and linearity. The integration of the IQ modulator, PLL, and VCO provides for significant board savings and reduces the BOM and design complexity.The integrated fractional-N PLL/synthesizer generates a 2× fLO input to the IQ modulator. The phase detector together with an external loop filter is used to control the VCO output. The VCO output is applied to a quadrature divider. To reduce spurious components, a sigma-delta (Σ-Δ) modulator controls the programmable PLL divider.The IQ modulator has wideband differential I and Q inputs, which support baseband as well as complex IF architectures. The single-ended modulator output is designed to drive a 50 Ω load impedance and can be disabled.The ADRF6702 is fabricated using an advanced silicon-germanium BiCMOS process. It is available in a 40-lead, exposed-paddle, Pb-free, 6 mm × 6 mm LFCSP package. Performance is specified from −40°C to +85°C. The ADuCRF101 is a fully integrated, data acquisition solution that is designed for low power, wireless applications. The ADuCRF101 is packaged in a 9 mm × 9 mm LFCSP.The data acquisition section consists of a 12-bit SAR ADC. The six inputs can be configured in single-ended or differential mode. When configured in single-ended mode, they can be used for ratiometric measurements on sensors that are powered, when required, from the internal low dropout regulator (LDO). An internal battery monitor channel and an on-chip temperature sensor are also available.This wireless data acquisition system is designed to operate in battery-powered applications where low power is critical. The device can be configured in normal operating mode or different low power modes under direct program control. In flexi mode, any peripheral can wake up the device and operate it. In hibernate mode, the internal wake-up timer remains active. In shutdown mode, only an external interrupt can wake up the device.The ADuCRF101 integrates a low power ARM Cortex-M3 processor. It is a 32-bit RISC machine, offering up to 1.25 DMIPS peak performance. The ARM Cortex-M3 processor also has a flexible 14-channel direct memory access (DMA) controller that supports communication peripherals, serial peripheral interface (SPI), UART, and I2C. Also provided on chip are 128 kB of nonvolatile Flash/EE memory and 16 kB of SRAM.A 16 MHz on-chip oscillator generates the system clock. This clock can be internally divided for the processor to operate at a lower frequency, thus saving power. A low power, internal 32 kHz oscillator is available and can be used to clock the four timers, as follows: two general-purpose timers, a wake-up timer, and a system watchdog timer.A range of communication peripherals can be configured, as required, in a specific application. These peripherals include UART, I2C, SPI, GPIO ports, PWM, and RF transceivers.The RF transceiver communicates in the 862 MHz to 928 MHz and 431 MHz to 464 MHz frequency bands using multiple configurations.On-chip factory firmware supports in-circuit serial download via the UART, and nonintrusive emulation and program download are also supported via the serial wire interface.
