ADA4945-1ACPZ-R7

Analog Devices Inc.
The ADA4945-1 is a low noise, low distortion, fully differential amplifier with two selectable power modes. The device operates over a broad power supply range of 3 V to 10 V. The low dc offset, dc offset drift, and excellent dynamic performance of the ADA4945-1 makes it well suited for a variety of data acquisition and signal processing applications. The device is an ideal choice for driving high resolution, high performance successive approximation register (SAR) and Σ-Δ analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) on 4 mA of quiescent current (full power mode). The device can also be selected to operate on 1.4 mA of quiescent current (low power mode) to scale the power consumption to the desired performance necessary for an ADC drive application. The adjustable common-mode voltage allows the ADA4945-1 to match the input common-mode voltage of multiple ADCs. The internal common-mode feedback loop provides exceptional output balance, as well as suppression of even order harmonic distortion products. With the ADA4945-1, differential gain configurations are achieved with a simple external feedback network of four resistors determining the closed-loop gain of the amplifier. The ADA4945-1 is fabricated using Analog Devices, Inc., proprietary, silicon germanium (SiGe), complementary bipolar process, enabling the device to achieve low levels of distortion with an input voltage noise of only 1.8 nV/√Hz (full power mode). The ADA4945-1 is available in a RoHS-complaint, 3 mm × 3 mm, 16-lead LFCSP. The ADA4945-1 is specified to operate from −40°C to +125°C.Applications Low power Σ-Δ, PulSAR®, and SAR ADC drivers Single-ended to differential converters Differential buffers Medical imaging Process control Portable electronics

AD4001BRMZ

Analog Devices Inc.
The AD4001/AD4005 are high accuracy, high speed, low power, 16-bit, Easy Drive, precision successive approximation register (SAR) analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) that operate from a single power supply, VDD. The reference voltage, VREF, is applied externally and can be set independent of the supply voltage. The AD4001/AD4005 power scales linearly with throughput. Easy Drive features reduce both signal chain complexity and power consumption while enabling higher channel density. The reduced input current, particularly in high-Z mode, coupled with a long signal acquisition phase, eliminates the need for a dedicated ADC driver. Easy Drive broadens the range of companion circuitry that is capable of driving these ADCs (see Figure 2 in the data sheet).Input span compression eliminates the need to provide a negative supply to the ADC driver amplifier while preserving access to the full ADC code range. The input overvoltage clamp protects the ADC inputs against overvoltage events, minimizing disturbances on the reference pin and eliminating the need for external protection diodes. Fast device throughput up to 2 MSPS allows users to accurately capture high frequency signals and to implement oversampling techniques to alleviate the challenges associated with antialias filter designs. Decreased serial peripheral interface (SPI) clock rate requirements reduce digital input and output power consumption, broadens digital host options, and simplifies the task of sending data across digital isolation. The SPI-compatible serial user interface is compatible with 1.8 V, 2.5 V, 3 V, and 5 V logic by using the separate VIO logic supply.APPLICATIONS Automated test equipment Machine automation Medical equipment Battery-powered equipment Precision data acquisition systems Instrumentation and control systems

Analog Devices Inc.
The AD7904 / AD7914 / AD7924 are, respectively, 8-bit, 10-bit, and 12-bit, high speed, low power, 4-channel successive approximation ADCs. The parts operate from a single 2.7 V to 5.25 V power supply and feature throughput rates up to 1 MSPS. The parts contain a low noise, wide bandwidth track-and-hold amplifier that can handle input frequencies in excess of 8 MHz.The conversion process and data acquisition are controlled using CS and the serial clock signal, allowing the device to easily inter-face with microprocessors or DSPs. The input signal is sampled on the falling edge of CS and conversion is also initiated at this point. There are no pipeline delays associated with the part. The AD7904 / AD7914 / AD7924 use advanced design techniques to achieve very low power dissipation at maximum throughput rates. At maximum throughput rates, the AD7904 / AD7914 / AD7924 consume 2 mA maximum with 3 V supplies; with 5 V supplies, the current consumption is 2.7 mA maximum.Through the configuration of the control register, the analog input range for the part can be selected as 0 V to REFIN or 0 V to 2 × REFIN, with either straight binary or twos complement output coding. The AD7904 / AD7914 / AD7924 each feature four single-ended analog inputs with a channel sequencer to allow a pre-programmed selection of channels to be converted sequentially. The conversion time for the AD7904 / AD7914 / AD7924 is determined by the SCLK frequency, which is also used as the master clock to control the conversion.PRODUCT HIGHLIGHTS High Throughput with Low Power Consumption. The AD7904/AD7914/AD7924 offer throughput rates up to 1 MSPS. Four Single-Ended Inputs with Channel Sequencer. A consecutive sequence of channels can be selected, through which the ADC will cycle and convert on. Single-Supply Operation with VDRIVE Function. The AD7904/AD7914/AD7924 operate from a single 2.7 V to 5.25 V supply. The VDRIVE function allows the serial interface to connect directly to 3 V or 5 V processor systems, independent of VDD. Flexible Power/Serial Clock Speed Management. The conversion rate is determined by the serial clock, allowing the conversion time to be reduced by increasing the serial clock speed. The parts also feature two shutdown modes to maximize power efficiency at lower throughput rates. Current consumption is 0.5 µA maximum when in full shutdown. No Pipeline Delay. The parts feature a standard successive approximation ADC with accurate control of the sampling instant via the CS input and once-off conversion control.

The AD7994 is a 4-channel, 10- and 12-bit, low power, successive approximation ADCs with an I2C-compatible interface. The parts operate from a single 2.7 V to 5.5 V power supply and feature a 2 µs conversion time. The parts contain a 4-channel multiplexer and track-and-hold amplifier that can handle input frequencies up to 11 MHz.The AD7994 provides a two-wire serial interface which is compatible with I2C interfaces. The part comes in two versions, AD7994-0 and AD7994-1. Each version allows for a minimum of two different I2C addresses. The I2C interface on the AD7994-0 supports Standard and Fast I2C Interface Modes. The I2C interface on the AD7994-1 supports Standard, Fast and two High-Speed I2C Interface Modes. The AD7994 normally remain in a shutdown state while not converting, and power up only for conversions. The conversion process can be controlled using the CONVST pin, by a command mode where conversions occur across I2C write operations, or an automatic conversion interval mode selected through software control. The AD7994 require an external reference that should be applied to the REFIN pin and can be in the range of 1.2 V to VDD. This allows the widest dynamic input range to the ADC. On-chip limit registers can be programmed with high and low limits for the conversion result, and an open-drain, out-of-range indicator output (ALERT) becomes active when the programmed high or low limits are violated by the conversion result. This output can be used as an interrupt.PRODUCT HIGHLIGHTS 2 µs conversion time with low power consumption. I2C-compatible serial interface with pin-selectable addresses. Two AD7993 / AD7994 versions allow five AD7993 / AD7994 devices to be connected to the same serial bus. The parts feature automatic shutdown while not converting to maximize power efficiency.
