The ADA4622-1/ADA4622-2/ADA4622-4 are the next generation of the AD820/AD822/AD824 single-supply, rail-to-rail output (RRO), precision junction field effect transistors (JFET) input op amps. The ADA4622-1/ADA4622-2/ADA4622-4 include many improvements that make them desirable as upgrades without compromising the flexibility and ease of use that makes the AD820/AD822/AD824 useful for a wide variety of applications.The input voltage range includes the negative supply and the output swings rail-to-rail. Input EMI filters increase the signal robustness in the face of closely located switching noise sources.The speed, in terms of bandwidth and slew rate, increases along with a strong output drive to improve settling time performance and enables the devices to drive the inputs of modern single-ended, successive approximation register (SAR) analog-to-digital converters (ADCs).Voltage noise is reduced; although the supply current remains the same as the AD820/AD822/AD824, broadband noise is reduced by 25%, and 1/f is reduced by half. DC precision in the ADA4622-1/ADA4622-2/ADA4622-4 improved from the AD820/AD822/AD824 with half the offset and a maximum thermal drift specification added to the ADA4622-1/ADA4622-2/ADA4622-4. The common-mode rejection ratio (CMRR) is improved from the AD820/AD822/AD824 to make the ADA4622-1/ADA4622-2/ADA4622-4 more suitable when used in noninverting gain and difference amplifier configurations.The ADA4622-1/ADA4622-2/ADA4622-4 are specified for operation over the extended industrial temperature range of −40°C to +125°C, and operate from 5 V to 30 V, with specifications at +5 V, ±5 V, and ±15 V. The ADA4622-1 is available in a 5-lead SOT-23 package and an 8-lead LFCSP package. The ADA4622-2 is available in an 8-lead SOIC_N package, an 8-lead MSOP package, and an 8-lead LFCSP package. The ADA4805-1 is a high speed voltage feedback rail-to-rail output amplifier with an exceptionally low quiescent current of 495 μA, making it ideal for low power, high resolution data conversion systems. Despite being low power, this amplifier provides excellent overall performance. It offers a high bandwidth of 105 MHz at a gain of 1, high slew rate of 160 V/μs, and a low input offset voltage of 125 μV maximum.A shutdown pin allows further reduction of the quiescent supply current to 3 μA. For power sensitive applications, the shutdown mode offers very fast turn-on time of 3 μs from shutdown to fully on (output settled to 16 bits). The ADA4806-1 is a high speed, voltage feedback, rail-to-rail output, single operational amplifier with three power modes: full power mode, sleep mode, and shutdown mode. In full power mode, this amplifier provides a wide bandwidth of 105 MHz at a gain of +1, a fast slew rate 160 V/μs, and excellent dc precision with a low input offset voltage of 125 μV (maximum) and an input offset voltage drift of 1.5 μV/°C (maximum), while consuming only 500 μA of quiescent current. Despite being a low power amplifier, the ADA4806-1 provides excellent overall performance, making it ideal for low power, high resolution data conversion systems.For data conversion applications where minimizing power dissipation is paramount, the ADA4806-1 offers a method to reduce power by dynamically scaling the quiescent power of the ADC driver with the sampling rate of the system by switching the amplifier to a lower power mode between samples.Sleep mode reduces the amplifier quiescent current to 74 μA and provides a fast turn-on time of only 0.45 μs, enabling the use of dynamic power scaling for sample rates approaching 2 MSPS. For additional power savings at lower samples rates, the shutdown mode further reduces the quiescent current to only 2.9 μA.The ADA4806-1 operates over a wide range of supply voltages and is fully specified at supplies of 3 V, 5 V and ±5 V. The SSM2518 is a digital input, Class-D power amplifier that combinesa digital-to-analog converter (DAC) and a sigma-delta(Σ-Δ) Class-D modulator. This unique architecture enablesextremely low real-world power consumption from digitalaudio sources with excellent audio performance. The AD8421 is a low cost, low power, extremely low noise, ultralow bias current, high speed instrumentation amplifier that is ideally suited for a broad spectrum of signal conditioning and data acquisition applications. This product features extremely high CMRR, allowing it to extract low level signals in the presence of high frequency common-mode noise over a wide temperature range. The 10 MHz bandwidth, 35 V/µs slew rate, and 0.6 µs settling time to 0.001% (G = 10) allow the AD8421 to amplify high speed signals and excel in applications that require high channel count, multiplexed systems. Even at higher gains, the current feedback architecture maintains high performance; for example, at G = 100, the bandwidth is 2 MHz and the settling time is 0.8 µs. The AD8421 has excellent distortion performance, making it suitable for use in demanding applications such as vibration analysis. The AD8421 delivers industry-leading 3 nV/√Hz input voltage noise and 200 fA/√Hz current noise with only 2 mA quiescent current, making it an ideal choice for measuring low level signals. For applications with high source impedance, the AD8421 employs innovative process technology and design techniques to provide noise performance that is limited only by the sensor. The AD8421 uses unique protection methods to ensure robust inputs while still maintaining very low noise. This protection allows input voltages up to 40 V from the opposite supply rail without damage to the part. A single resistor sets gains between 1 and 10,000.
